Fleet tracking

Fleet Tracking Systems

The core of fleet efficiency

  • Accurate to within 5 metres
  • Updates every 10 seconds
  • OBD engine data
  • 4G/LTE and GSM/GPRS

GPS, onboard diagnostics and telematics working together to show you where every vehicle is, how it is being driven, and what it is about to need.

Our fleet management offering is built to make fleet efficiency something you operate rather than something you hope for.

What it does

01

The technology in the vehicle

The system combines GPS with telematics and IoT platforms. Three components sit in or on the vehicle:

  • GPS trackers. Compact vehicle-mounted devices that continuously record location, speed and route.
  • Onboard diagnostics devices. Connected directly to the vehicle's computer to collect engine data, vehicle status and diagnostics.
  • Telematics control unit. The central device that aggregates data from the GPS trackers, the OBD system and any additional sensors such as fuel or temperature, then transmits it to our cloud platform over GSM, GPRS or 4G/LTE.

02

What the platform does with it

  • Real-time location tracking. Monitor the exact position of every vehicle as it moves, which makes dispatch decisions and route changes possible while they still matter.
  • Geofencing. Draw virtual boundaries around specific areas and get an alert when a vehicle enters or leaves one, which supports both route adherence and security.
  • Driver behaviour monitoring. Track and report speeding, harsh braking, rapid acceleration and idling, to encourage safer driving and reduce wear on the vehicle.
  • Route optimisation. The system analyses traffic conditions and vehicle performance to suggest more efficient routes, saving both fuel and time.
  • Vehicle maintenance alerts. Reading the OBD system lets the platform track engine health and give early warning of maintenance needs, which cuts downtime and repair bills.

03

How it performs in the field

The system is in use across logistics, transportation and public services. Its measured characteristics:

  • High-precision GPS tracking. Location accuracy within five metres, updated every ten seconds.
  • Comprehensive reporting. Detailed reports on trip history, driver performance, fuel consumption and vehicle health.
  • Scalability. The same platform supports a business with a handful of vehicles and an enterprise running a large fleet.
  • Mobile app access. Manage the fleet from anywhere, with real-time updates, alerts and reports on the phone in your pocket.

04

Where we differ from other systems

  • Real-time data rather than delayed or batched updates, so what you are looking at is what is happening now.
  • Broader driver behaviour monitoring, which gives driver coaching something specific to work from.
  • Customisable alerts and reports, tuned to how your operation actually runs rather than to a fixed template.
  • An interface built to be used without training, with straightforward navigation and nothing cluttering the screen.

05

What we commit to after installation

  • 24/7 support. Our team is available around the clock, so a system problem does not become a day of lost operations.
  • Training programmes. Comprehensive training for fleet managers and operators, so the platform gets used properly.
  • Proactive maintenance. Regular hardware and software updates to keep the system current and performing.
